Blazer Cafe is no more.
While Jason over @ I Love UAB is finding out you can suffer from Chick-fil-A withdrawl (I think they have a 12 step program for that), the kind folks at Campus Dining are keeping us up late at night watching their ever evolving Flickr set of the pure, ravage destruction happening in HUC 160. Check out the photo to the right taken just the other day. Look ‘ma! No more cows hanging upside down from the ceiling!
While some may shed a tear over such an image, there’s always the thought of UAB’s very own Taco Bell Express coming in the future.
Umm… I hope they improve the ventilation system back here in the office.
And in the mean time, you can always check out our exclusive review of the new chicken noodle soup at Jazzmans Cafe. While it’s no Polynesian Sauce, I think you can eat a lot more chicken soup without overdosing.
The new Blazer Cafe is set to open sometime in August.
And Jason, this sandwich’s for you…

Update: We received an emergency call from the above noted Click-fil-A cows saying they will be returning to the Blazer Cafe in the fall.

For real man, Taco Bell is gunna rock! I wish that (while already doing all this construction) they would somehow engineer a drive up window for both Taco Bell and Chick-Fil-A, they could use that little one way street there, we would lose some parking spots but it would rock.
