Hallie Bradley, a media representative for Alabama Power, reported that the cause of the power outage was the snapping of a spliced cable underground. There was no fire or explosion but the snapping cables did cause the loud noises and smoke as they became disconnected. Continue Reading

Cover albums are always somewhat of a dicey proposition. True, there are well-respected singers that have made or revitalized their careers by covering other people’s material.
