Student support at UAB is phenomenal. I can remember first coming to UAB and not even knowing we had a football team. Attendance was dismal. But with each year more and more students come out to support the Green and Gold. So I figure it’s time to talk about where we are as a fans and where we need to go from here.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant today for the arrest of 24 year old Will Dunbar. Dunbar, a star UAB football player (#18) who played in the 2008 season, failed to register with the sheriffs office last month as a convicted sex offender for a 2004 aggravated sodomy and aggravated rape on a 16 year old girl in Atlanta.

UAB Athletics has yet to release a statement, but has already pulled Dunbar’s profile from their roster.
